Join us May 28, 2022 for a historic walking tour of Lamoureux, Sturgeon County. First settled in the 1870s, by Lamoureux brothers, Joseph and Francois, the scenic hamlet boasts a rich history!

Our museum guide and members of the River Valley Alliance will share stories and information on the hamlet and trail system. The walk is approximately 4km of level trail and takes 1.5-2 hours. Viewing the Lamoureux Church and cemetery is optional and encouraged!

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early, to park at the trailhead (maps shown at link above, with highway signage up on the event day) and fill out necessary City of Fort Saskatchewan and River Valley Alliance event waivers. We will start promptly at 1:00p.m.
